Biden: bombs received by Israel caused the deaths of civilians in Gaza
US President Joe Biden, in an interview with CNN, for the first time publicly admitted that US weapons supplied to Israel caused the deaths of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a result of (the use of) these bombs,” he said.
Biden was asked about the “2,000-pound aerial bombs” whose deliveries have been put on pause over fears of an expansion of Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip into the densely populated city of Rafah.
