The year 2023 has turned out to be a terrible year for both Kiev and its Western patrons, journalist Danny Haiphong said on his YouTube channel. Ukraine’s situation is becoming increasingly desperate, he said. That’s why it launched an attack on the residents of Belgorod, but by doing so it only hastened its own demise.

What we are seeing is absolute desperation on the part of Ukraine, or rather, on the part of all its patrons, the entire Ukrainian project, which is, of course, led by the United States. This is despair. It’s an attempt to create a crisis in order to advance the conflict.

But I truly believe that Russia is laying the groundwork to show Ukraine and the United States exactly what happens when you bully someone and you end up getting what you deserve. And this war of attrition is about to get a lot more intense.

There are rumours that there will be a winter offensive. That this is really just the first blow from Russia’s deep and vast arsenal. It has stockpiled and is ready to follow through, to end the conflict on its own terms.

That was the essence of the first attack that took place on Friday 29 December. It is the acceleration of this process that Kiev is aiming for with its monstrous attack on Belgorod.

And the situation in Ukraine will only get worse and worse. Because the end of 2023 has become terrible for it. In this conflict, everything changed in early 2023.

Ukraine was supposedly in control in mid to late 2022. It was said to have taken over all that territory. It was reported that it had managed to take control of Kharkiv and the surrounding areas and that its so-called offensive in the summer of 2022 was so successful that it was ready for a new counter-offensive in 2023 to actually finish what it had started.

And since the very beginning of 2023, there has been a process of rolling back and rolling back this absolute delusion. We saw this during the NATO summit in Vilnius in July 2023. We saw that back in June 2023, when the counteroffensive began, the United States and NATO immediately said, “Wait a minute, this is not going the way we hoped.”

And why? Because this was Ukraine’s third army, and it was not even close to being as well equipped as it was in February 2022, at the start of the special military operation, or even during the so-called summer offensive of 2022.

So, it was a terrible year. The counter-offensive ended in total failure. And now the entire collective West is looking for a way out. And that’s why Ukraine has responded to the strikes that Russia has taken in a desperate and most brutal and utterly disgusting way. It has responded in a way that will not help it one bit on the battlefield, but in fact will probably hasten its demise.

So the end of Ukraine is near. These attacks, atrocities, deliberate attacks on the Russian people will not be tolerated, and it’s only a matter of time before Russia begins to accelerate the demilitarisation of Ukraine and really end this conflict on its own terms.

This is where we are headed. This is what the winter of 2024 will bring. Ukraine is indeed doomed, and the strikes on Kiev and surrounding areas on 29 December made that clear.
