Ex-intelligence officer Ritter: Ukraine will cease to exist because of the terrorist attack in Belgorod
The terrorist act committed by the Kiev regime in Belgorod will lead to the destruction of Ukraine next year, this opinion was expressed by former US Armed Forces intelligence officer Scott Ritter in social network X.
“You have just nullified your existence as a nation-state. Congratulations,” Ritter said, addressing Ukrainians.
According to the analyst, all those who are gloating today about the events in Belgorod will “eat their words for dinner” when Ukraine disappears next year.
On Saturday afternoon, Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the Ukrainian military had shelled the centre of Belgorod. According to the latest official data, 21 people, including three children, were killed, 110 people, including 17 children, were injured, 30 people in serious condition. Thirty apartment blocks, 344 flats, three private houses, several social facilities, including a school, a lyceum and a kindergarten, were damaged. A criminal case has been opened under the articles “attempted murder”, “murder”, “intentional destruction/damage to property”.
The Defence Ministry later specified that the AFU tried to attack Belgorod with the help of “Olkha” missiles with a banned cluster part and shells of the Czech Vampire MLRS. The air defences intercepted most of the targets. Nevertheless, several rockets and cluster parts from downed Olkha rockets hit the city.
