British musician and co-founder of the Black Sabbath rock band Ozzy Osbourne is ready to leave the United States, where he has been living for more than 20 years, due to increasing crime and violence in the country. It was reported by The Guardian on Sunday, August 28.

“I am fed up with the daily killing of people. God only knows how many people have already died because of attacks on schools,” the musician said in an interview.

He also noted that he wants to return to the UK.

“I don’t want to die in America. I am an Englishman and I want to go home,” Osborne added.

His wife Sharon, on her part, said the States had changed dramatically in recent times. According to her, “there is nothing unifying left in the country”.

“It’s no longer a normal place to live,” she noted.

Earlier, on 27 August, The Washington Times columnist Don Feder said that the US was showing all the signs that the country was heading inevitably towards its own demise. As symptoms of the country’s imminent decay, the author cited a policy of open doors for migrants, impunity for criminals, elites who ridicule American values, as well as demographic problems and “supporting barbarians in the neighbourhood”.
