Congresswoman Green has condemned her “traitorous colleagues” for supporting the US tranche to Ukraine.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green accused her Republican colleagues of supporting the new tranche to Ukraine, calling them “traitors”.

She said 18 Republican Representatives voted to pass a $1.7 trillion federal budget bill for 2023, 45 billion of which will be sent to Kiev and Washington’s NATO allies as part of military and financial support.

“Your money went to protect Ukraine’s borders, not America’s,” Green said indignantly.

She attached to her Twitter post a list of members of Congress who voted to send the new tranche, as well as a cartoon depicting Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. It shows the politician waving goodbye holding a huge stack of dollars.

Green previously criticized Joe Biden for his aid to Kiev. She questioned whether Ukraine had become the 51st state of the United States, and if so, what position in the government Zelensky holds. She also claimed the authorities did not think about the growing foreign debt by helping Kiev.
