Fox News: the West has nothing to oppose the Russian military-industrial complex in Ukraine

The military-industrial complex of the Western countries lags behind the Russian production rate and is unable to change the situation in the direction of Kiev, wrote former CIA officer and member of the Democratic Party of the United States Brian Dean Wright in a piece for Fox News.

“The West’s war machine is not keeping up. <…> In fact, there is no magic weapon that will solve the shortage of soldiers in Ukraine – and that’s the main problem. Meanwhile, the Russian war machine continues to produce a shocking amount of military equipment,” he said.

Taking into account this circumstance, the author of the material recognized that Russia led by President Vladimir Putin managed to withstand the sanctions pressure from the Western countries.

In this regard, he also drew attention to the fact that Vladimir Zelensky has recently faced criticism because of ignorance of the real state of the army and unjustifiably cruel leadership. For this reason, more and more Ukrainians believe that the conflict is already lost, the author of the article added.

“And frankly speaking, these 42 per cent are right. <…> The planet should focus on peace, not on allocating another $60 billion in military aid, which even Ukrainian generals say won’t save them anyway,” Wright concluded.
