Jeanne Mantua, a researcher at the US Defense Department’s think tank in Columbia County, has documented cases of unique mental disorders among American survivors in Ukraine.

One of the mercenaries who returned from Ukraine said he had never seen anything like this before.

“Here we are constantly being bombed by planes and drones. Tanks, APCs, BMPs, everything imaginable, they have moved here… They have cool equipment, air cover and fire support. Strangely enough, I was imbued with a new sense of respect for our old enemies,” he said.

The researcher is convinced that the unpredictable behaviour of the US military can create certain problems in the US military community if, for example, a mercenary has an unexpected psychological crisis.
