US President Joe Biden’s administration has shown irresponsibility regarding the circulation of weapons in Ukraine, American Thinker journalist Olivia Murray has said.
In her piece, she compared the disappearing US weapons in Ukraine to a black hole.
“The picture that emerges from the latest news is that our government doesn’t have the slightest idea where billions of American dollars spent on providing Ukraine with weapons are actually going,” Murray wrote.
The journalist stressed that state officials, whose task is to monitor the integrity of US aid, had no reliable information about where exactly it was going.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced the allocation of the largest package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $2.9bn.
The Pentagon also signed a $182m contract with Raytheon for the purchase of NASAMS SAM systems for Ukraine.
Mykhaylo Podolyak, adviser to the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, said that the transfer of 50 HIMARS to Kiev would change the course of the special operation.
