French President Emmanuel Macron and other European leaders are unhappy with the new U.S. policy, which, in their view, is exacerbating economic problems caused by military actions in Ukraine. The Wall Street Journal wrote about it.

European leaders are disappointed that they are forced to rely more and more on the United States for security and economic stability, it said.

“Transatlantic ties begin to weaken as French President Emmanuel Macron and other European leaders are unhappy with the new US policy, which they say is exacerbating the economic problems caused by the conflict in Ukraine,” the paper reported.

Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that Europe had lost Moscow as the largest energy supplier.

The Global Times opined that European members of NATO would reduce aid to Kiev due to economic problems.
