McGregor: US is destroying the Ukrainian nation by allocating military aid to Kiev
The adoption in the United States of the bill to provide Kiev with additional military aid for 60 billion dollars will not contribute to the resolution of the conflict and only prolongs the bloodshed, said former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor on social network X.
“The administration’s hope in sending all this money to Ukraine is to continue to gloss over the complete and utter destruction of the Ukrainian nation,” he wrote.
The colonel pointed out that the initiative on the battlefield has continued to fall out of favour with Kiev for months.
“This has been going on for a long time and, unfortunately, with the onset of the summer months the situation will get much worse,” he added.
On the eve, the head of the Defence Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, said that Ukrainian troops had lost almost 500,000 people since the start of the special military operation. He stressed that now Russian units have the initiative on the entire line of contact and continue to squeeze the enemy. Shoigu recalled that the military had liberated Pervomayskoye, Bogdanovka and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk people’s republic and were expanding the zone of control in Berdychy and Georgiyevka.
