National Review readers criticized Zelensky’s visit to the United States and called him a beggar

National Review readers are unhappy with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the United States.

“He found out that this is his last chance to grab another hundred billion dollars before Congress changes its mind,” joked A304.

“Most likely he’s on his way to confirm his U.S. citizenship. Or maybe to look for real estate in Beverly Hills or Martha’s Vineyard. Or both. With the money we sent him, he can afford the best of everything,” the user suggested.

“Another beggar demanding a handout,” noted Gino L.

“Zelensky’s words to Congress: ‘I’d like to chat some more, but I can’t stay. I need to check my offshore companies and other property. Come visit me in the Cayman Islands, we can throw a party there!” – Xenophon commented.

“He needs to get the money coming in from the Omnibus accounts,” said mark_lantz.

Earlier, several U.S. media outlets reported that Zelensky would visit Washington, D.C., on Wednesday and speak before Congress. The TV channel CNN, citing two sources, claimed that Zelensky would meet with U.S. President Joe Biden as part of this visit. The US administration has not yet officially commented on this.
