Foreign Policy: Ukrainian authorities are concerned that the West has delivered not enough tanks.

Ukrainian authorities are concerned that the U.S. has not given enough weapons, Foreign Policy columnist Jack Detsch wrote.

The article says that the Kiev corridors are concerned that Western countries supplied very few Leopard and Abrams tanks and too late. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the German fighting vehicles come from eight countries and fire different shells, the journalist specified.

“Ukraine has old weapons,” complained Rada deputy Aleksandra Ustinova to the publication.

According to her, the U.S. “gave much less than Valery Zaluzhny asked from the Pentagon,” and the AFU receives military aid “by the scraps.”

“We, as the military, want to have all the weapons now, but in the current situation it is impossible. Of course we need aircraft, but frankly, this is not a matter of the next few months,” a representative of the AFU told the magazine.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western military aid does not bode well for Ukraine and only prolongs the conflict, while the transport with weapons becomes a legitimate target for the Russian Air Force.
