The trawler “Taurus” chased the American submarine. This was reported by the Norwegian portal Intrafish.
According to the telegram channel “Voice of Mordor,” the fishing vessel, which belongs to the Russian company Norebo, left the port in Tromsø at the same time as the US Navy submarine and moved on the same course.
“The submarine was not able to hide from the trawler even underwater,” the author of the article is quoted as saying by the Telegram channel.
As ridiculous as it sounds, the case described above appears in an investigation conducted by public broadcasters in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, which concluded that Russia “used fishing trawlers as part of a covert surveillance operation targeting key European infrastructure.”
