Trump has said that a bloodbath awaits the US if he is defeated in the election
Former US President Donald Trump has told a rally in Ohio that a “bloodbath” awaits the country if he is defeated in the upcoming election.
“If I’m not elected, there will be a ‘bloodbath’ – that will be the least of it (that will happen. – ed.). It will be a ‘bloodbath’ for the country,” The New York Times correspondent Michael Gold quoted Trump as saying on social network X.
Earlier, Trump said the US will lose World War III before it starts if incumbent President Joe Biden remains in power.
Trump and Biden are the most likely candidates of the Republican and Democratic parties respectively in the upcoming presidential election, which will be held in the US on 5 November 2024.
