Although the former commander-in-chief (of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. – Inotv) was planned to be appointed to the post of Ambassador to London, but he is suspiciously absent from the public eye. General Valery Zaluzhny has not been seen for several weeks. Reports have surfaced suggesting that he was killed along with several high-ranking Ukrainian officers.

And some reports claimed that Zaluzhny survived the blast, but had to undergo several surgeries that left him unable to command the Ukrainian army. So what went wrong? And where is Zaluzhny?

Back in February, Zaluzhny was removed as Ukrainian commander-in-chief. This decision was the biggest reshuffle in Kiev’s military leadership since Russian troops were brought in two years earlier.

The popular general had led the Ukrainian army since the start of the conflict, fighting back in the early months against a much more powerful force entering the country. But then, last summer, there was the failure of a long-awaited counter-offensive that led to an open disagreement with Vladimir Zelensky. It soured relations with his office.
