US President Joe Biden is inferior to his predecessors in terms of his qualities as commander-in-chief, says more than half of the participants in a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports.

The survey, which asked participants “whether President Biden is a stronger or weaker commander-in-chief than his recent predecessors,” found 53 per cent said “weaker,” 24 per cent said “stronger,” and 20 per cent considered him “about equal” to his predecessors.

The poll, organized by a pro-conservative company, did not specify which predecessors the current president was asked to compare him to.

The poll was conducted online and by telephone from 18 to 20 March with the participation of 1,114 people. The sociological margin of error is 3 percentage points.
