NYP: Illegal detention centers near the US-Mexico border in San Diego are 245% full

US Border Patrol centers in San Diego are 245 per cent full – holding almost 2.5 times more illegals than they can accommodate, the New York Post reports.

“The U.S. Border Patrol in the San Diego area on the southern border has more than twice as many migrants as it can accommodate, and immigrants here are thanking President Biden for letting them in,” the publication writes.

According to the newspaper, as of Friday, 1,812 illegal immigrants were being held in the 750-person facility.

“Given the influx of migrants and the fact that they can only be held for 72 hours, more than 125,000 migrants have been released onto the streets of San Diego since September,” the publication notes.

The US has been recording record numbers of illegal migration in recent months, with border officials recording 302,000 illegal border crossings last December, the largest number in a single month. In addition, the record number of illegal immigrants is recorded all three years, during which the U.S. is headed by Joe Biden.
