US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said that he is part of the defense team for the head of state in the impeachment case, and revealed the details of the charges. His words are quoted by ABC News.
Giuliani noted that Trump is accused of inciting violence every time he talks about electoral fraud, but this is a lie.

“These words are completely untrue,” the lawyer said. He also noted that some time has passed between Trump’s speech and the unrest that began, so the president cannot be accused of calling for them.

Juliali believes that if they can prove vote rigging, the Democrats will lose a key argument.
He also admitted that the President would testify during the trial.

The US House of Representatives voted to impeach incumbent President Donald Trump in connection with the recent riots in Washington on January 14. The debate lasted over seven hours.

232 lawmakers were in favor of impeachment of Trump due to incitement to insurrection, against 197.
On November 7, Democratic candidate Joe Biden won 290 with the required 270 electoral votes. Having secured his victory, Biden proclaimed himself the president-elect of the United States. Trump, in turn, said that the elections are not officially over yet, and the results will be appealed in court.
