The Russian military taking part in a special operation in Ukraine continues to destroy weapons supplied by the West.
Kalibr missiles in Odessa Region have destroyed an ammunition depot with missiles for US HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems and Western anti-aircraft systems, the Russian Defence Ministry has said.
At the same time, the ministry said that two US M777 howitzers were covered in combat positions near Knyazevka in Kherson Region.
As EADaily reported, Russian troops have seized major weapons supplied by the West in Ukraine and Russian specialists are studying them.
“Of course, our science and our industry are dealing with it. We are looking at it from two angles. The first is the possibilities of fighting this weapon, how and what it can be countered with. On the other hand, with what it can be defeated, its main drawbacks,” Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said in an interview with Russia 1 TV channel.
